This is the 5L-MR Metal BeaterBlade that works exclusively on the KitchenAid 5-Quart Bowl-Lift mixer. It is not to be used on any other manufacturer’s brand of mixers or other KitchenAid mixer sizes. It is exclusively designed to fit the 5-Quart Bowl-Lift –but how to know if this will work on YOUR bowl, you ask? Simply measure the diameter of your stand mixer bowl---if it measures between 8 and 8.5-inches, the 5LMR is the correct size for your mixer. This mixer features a narrower lift bowl and the walls are more vertical. This mixer is popular at restaurants and bakeries due to it’s power and the bowl shape. This is NOT for the Professional 5-Plus mixers (commonly sold at Costco & Sam’s club), 5 Quart glass bowls or Tilt-Head mixers…we have other BeaterBlade models for those mixers.
